Closing the door behind her, Integral locks it, the bolt snapping loudly and echoing dully through the room. She backs away from the door, almost like she's afraid someone might throw it open and order her back to work. Finally turning her back on the door, she pulls the piano bench out and places herself on it before easing the wooden cover off the keys and testing them carefully, one at a time.

The shadows beneath the bench twitched for a moment, as if trying to build anticipation. The blackness swirled for a moment before solidifying. Alucard stood behind the piano bench, smiling slightly. “Hiding, Master?” he asked by way of greeting, with a teasing note in his voice.

"I have no reason to hide, Alucard, the only thing I have reason to fear in this house is under my control. I do, however, have a reason to find a quiet place to think. Have you met him yet?"

Alucard's trademark grin widened as he leaned forward toward his master. "You have not seen fit to introduce me yet. I was under the impression you were saving my introduction for the right moment."

"No." Slowly, the woman plays her scales, each note echoing throughout the room. "Tonight, I think. You can wake him shortly after he falls asleep, although, I'd like to be there to watch. He's full of himself...Prudence can't stand him, and my idiot-tolerance is running low...Please feel free to take any necessary measures to scare him into beahaving."

Alucard bows deeply. "Anything you wish, my Master," he replies, not bothering to conceal his wide smile at the prospect. "Is there anything else, or shall I just listen to you play?"

"I wasen't aware that this was a command performance." She growls, but stands, obligingly and takes out a book of music from the bench. "What will it be, servant?"

Alucard settles himself in a chair nearby, back straight and hands folded. "I wouldn't presume to tell you what to play, Master. Surprise me."

"No, you wouldn't, would you? But you're welcome to request something." Perching on the bench again, she flips open the book to a random song, frowns that it's title, then begins leafing through the pages.

After several silent moments, save for the sound of flipping pages, the blonde stands and puts the book away, then perches at the piano again. She starts out slowly, mumbling the word to herself, then when she feels her piano is making enough sound, then quietly begins to sing: "You have tamed me, Now you must take me. How am I supposed to be, I don't have my thorns now? And I feel them sprouting, they'll grow right through if I don't watch them, They'll grow right through even if I watch them, and a sunset couldn't save me now..."
