Before taking off to America, Allastor had sneaked into Integral's office and placed an open box upon her bed. With a soft smile he patted the small white kitten on the head. "Don't let me down, short-time..." After laying the letter beside the box, he scratched the tiny, sleepy feline under its chin. "Make her happy, Elisabeth..." He quickly left the room and set out for the airport with Pip. The note read:
"Dear Sir Hellsing,
I'm off to America to investigate this virus, as you asked. Before I left, I saw this little cutie in the mall and i had to get her for you. I know its too much and out of line...but I had to. Her name is Elisabeth...I named her after the Queen...or someone important...Anyway! I figured she would make you happy...and that's all I want. Other than your heart and for you to actually notice me. Yeah, I know. This is some school boy stuff and it seems really weak of me...but I really wanted to do this. I'll be thinking of you while I'm gone. I hope you like her...
Ciao, Allastor"

Standing silently in the doorway of her room, Integral blinks. There was a box shaking on her bed. She removes the little PPK from her hip and takes a step into the room. Suddenly, a line from a movie she’d caught Allastor watching pops into her mind: ‘Modern bombs don’t tick, They vibrate.’
Suddenly, the box tips over and a small white creature tumbles out, shakes herself off and pads onto the bed. Catching sight at her mistress, she mews. Integral’s mouth drops open and she gasps aloud. “A kitten.” she breathes. Holstering her weapon, she dashes across the room and scoops the animal up. Crinkled under the upset box lay Allastor’s letter.
As her little love nestles in arm, she reads and rereads the letter, then folds it carefully deposit’s it on her night-stand. She sits down on her bed and deposits the kitten beside her. She curls up on her side, resting her head in the crook of her arm. The satin cold against her skin, even through her uniform, she shivers and runs her hand over the kitten’s spine.
“Elizabeth, are you?”
