I ask that everyone read and reply to this in some way.
Plot starts this weekend. Pests are still desperately needed. If you are interested in playing a pest, please let me know IMMEDIEATLY.
Also, This weekend, A new rule/ experiment is going into affect. ALL MEMBERS have two weeks to straighten up their posts. This means EVERYONE needs to spell check and proofread their posts. Even if you’re amazing and never have a period out of place, do this for me as encouragement for everyone else.
The ‘Quick Reply’ option at the bottom of threads is going to be disabled. When you press reply you will now see several more options, including a spell check option. Use it.
Thus far, though my fellow Admins and I had discussed it, we decided against disabling Quick Reply simply because of the Game and OOC area. I didn’t want any pressure on members when they post in these areas of the board.
I’m afraid our standards have gone a bit lax simply because your Countess doesn’t like to upset people… It has finally come to my attention that this needs to be addressed, and, as I still don’t like to single people out, I believe that if EVERYONE makes an effort to do better, our entire forum will benefit in the long run.
At the end of the first week, notes will be sent via PM informing at-risk members that we’d like for them to put in a bit more effort. If you receive one of these notes, no one is picking on you, we want our board to be the best it can possibly be. I feel that just a little more effort from everyone is not too much to ask.
